Out of action

It's been a couple of weeks since I've been able to play guitar in anger and a lot longer since I've played without any pain at all. I have developed some sort of problem with my joints that doesn't seem to be showing much sign of going away. I've had to cancel all my work until the new year to give my body a chance to recover. Unfortunately, rather than recover, the pain has started to work its way from just being in my fingers to all through my body. No diagnosis yet but I'm getting to see a specialist in 2 weeks.
